Neil Armstrong Dies At 82

The first man to walk on the moon, Neil Armstrong, dies at the age of 82.

In a statement of his family, Armstrong was said to have died due to complications resulting from cardiovascular procedures. However, it was not reported where he died and the itinerary of his wake and interment were not yet divulged in public.

It was Armstrong who commanded the Apollo 11 spacecraft that landed on the moon in July 20, 1969. He radioed back to Earth the historic news of “one giant leap for mankind.” He and fellow U.S. astronaut Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin spent nearly three hours walking on the moon, collecting samples, conducting experiments and taking photographs.  From 1969 to 1972, there are 12 Americans who walked on the moon.

Armstrong’s major breakthrough would surely give more inspirations to aspiring astronauts and space experts. His experiences were already shared to young and eager learners. Being an astronaut could be a rewarding profession but it is not easy, I guess. I imagine how challenging yet sometimes boring it can be when they are at the outer space. The spacecraft was designed to have a reliable air conditioning system and does not need ordinary air conditioning repair like most residential AC audit-ready.

Exploring More Planets and Stars

Today, not only the moon have already explored by human. There will be more and more planets or stars that soon to be investigated with an aim to learn if they would be fit to human living. Of course, the Earth is still huge enough to carry more people but with others who are careless, the planet where we are now would soon degrade and could lead to unimaginable destruction.

Remembering this day well, I believe the entire world was glued to their television set that fateful day. This was indeed a day in history, one in which I will never forget, and with the cancellation of the space program, per say, it will be quite some time before we see this kind of history made in the future.
