And now, they have gained success and will continue to reap the fame that the team deserves.     Pacquiao Loses Pound For Pound Crown?

    It was Floyd Mayweather who allegedly put an end to Manny Pacquiao’s three-year title as the Pound for Pound King. Come May this year, The Ring magazine’s issue will hit the stands and everyone would confirm who’s the new Best Fighter in the World. As reported by Nick Giongco of Manila Bulletin, Mayweather emerged as the top in Best Fighter Poll by the said magazine. Mayweather got 5.5 first-place votes, while Pacquiao received 3.5. Making up third to tenth places are Sergio Martinez, Andre Ward, Juan Manuel Marquez, Nonito Donaire, Wladimir Klitschko, Tim Bradley, Pongsaklek Wonjongkam and Lucian Bute.     Yesica Marcos Snatches WBO Super Bantamweight Title From Ana Julaton

    Argentinian boxing champion Yesica "La Leona" Marcos today snatched the World Boxing Organization (WBO) women’s super bantamweight title from Filipina three-time world champion Ana "The Hurricane" Julaton. After the 10 rounds of fight, judges unanimously decided to declare Marcos as the new champion. On the 2nd round, Marcos fell but managed to give Julaton multiple upper cut through several rounds. Marcos, 25, holds an immaculate 18-0 record with six knockouts against Julaton’s 10-2-1 win-loss-draw card (1 KO).

    I am a true-blooded and a proud Filipino, but I bet for Mexican boxer Antonio “Tijuana Tornado” Margarito. Not because I like him, but I pity him. Everybody loves a winner. And Pacquiao is enjoying it. Admittedly, I’m not a fan of Manny Pacquiao. But his recent fight with Margarito gave me a good impression for him. Pacquiao is not a killer. He had his chances to knockout Margarito but he did not do so. The Filipinos’ champ took mercy on a bloodied opponent by pulling his hardest punches in the final minutes.
