this is what i am concerned about too. several times i have caught jeepney drivers smoke while on duty and i have even posted them. maybe there should be a citizen’s arrest for this. that will be too burdensome, though, especially if you are in a hurry. how about merely sending a picture as proof and then the authorities will pursue them?

I really hate people who smoke….pardon me for being subjective..But I believed that smoking will not do any good to one’s health.  I hope that the “NO SMOKING CAMPAIGN” will really be implemented with iron hand..Because it is more dangerous for those people who really doesn’t smoke

I just saw a college student who lit his cig while inside a jeepney. Definitely disapponting, I am really hoping that this law will be strictly implemented, ang hirap kasi lalo na for me na may asthma , masyadong insensitive yung ibang smokers.

Strict implementation is the key here. ‘Wag sanang hanggang umpisa lang.

I lauded MMDA and local government officials here. Galing, magandang simulain pero sana tumagal.

i just hope more people will follow + that the government will implement this in the strictest sense. i  have always abhor people who are smoking in public + i’d really call their attention about, now it is a good thing we non-smokers has something to threaten them with, although a lot of people do not seem bothered by it + would just go about with their business…:(
