Share Some Love To Elderly On Grandparents’ Day!

It was so unfortunate that there are elderly who are really abandoned by their families. They are too old to live alone. Imagine how hard would that be.

Good thing that there are non-government organizations or foundations that voluntarily took care of elderly. But of course, they need all the support they can acquire from other concerned people.

This coming September 9, 2012, the ANAWIM Lay Mission Foundation, Inc. will be celebrating the Grandparents’ Day with 50 abandoned elderly in Barangay San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal at 9am to 4pm. This said event is a project of Mapayapa Village III.

The group will be giving free haircuts and makeovers to the grandparents to at least uplift their morale and spirit!

In lieu of this, the foundation needs volunteer haircutters and make-up artists (with own make-ups and tools)! This could be your chance to give back your talents and share a gift of hope to the elderly.

They are also accepting donations in kind and cash and the ANAWIM Wish List includes food, toiletries, medicines, and medical equipment.
