PPUR Officially Named Among New 7 Wonders Of Nature

No more doubt and fear that Puerto Princesa Underground River (PPUR) would still loose it.

New 7 Wonders of Nature President Bernard Weber had officially announced and confirmed today the inclusion of the 17-kilometer underground river in the Philippines, based on the results of a global poll.

Weber, himself admitted to have been captivated by the PPUR when he visited the place several months ago.

Millions of Filipinos as well as foreigners who were star struck by the pristine beauty of the river campaigned and voted for PPUR last year to make sure that the Philippine wonder would land a spot on the prestigious list.

Along with PPUR in the list are the Amazon, Halong Bay, Iguazo Falls, Jeju Island, Komodo, and Table Mountain.
