Boosting soldiers’ morale – The Journalistic View

A free concert, Himigsikan 2011, performed by military singers and bands and members of Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM) for Filipino soldiers was concluded last week.

A rare event which couldn’t have been made into reality without the volunteerism of OPM and its President, Mr. Ogie Alcacid. Their effort were much appreciated by the organization and served as a morale booster for soldiers.>

In an interview si Mr. Alcacid, this is what he has to say.

They are planning to repeat the performances in different military camps in the country, with an aim to uplift the spirit of the soldiers who are focused on battling security threats and protecting the sovereignty.

Nice move by Ogie Alcasid. For sure nakatulong ang ginawa nila para maboost naman kahit papano amg morale ng mga sundalo.

Kudos to Ogie. The Filipino soldiers are really admirable, they may not be receiving much for their service still they remain loyal. 🙂 They deserve to be more acknowledgement than what they are currently having.
