Alert vs Unexpected

Almost everyday, there were reports of earthquakes in different parts of the Philippines.

Since November 1, 2010, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) already recorded 47 earthquakes.

The latest was monitored today at 2:38 in the morning with 4.6 magnitude at 31 kilometers South-East of Bangued, Abra.

Though most of the recent quakes were not destructive, we should not be slacken but instead, always be alert and ready to the unexpected.

No one can definitely detect when an earthquake will strike and the range of its devastation.

It was noted in recent years, some destructive earthquakes in the country with magnitude 7.9 as the strongest.

Besides alterness we should also be ready. How I wish the city authorities are more strict when it comes to approving building permits. Ang daming high-rise na establishments ngayon, nakakatakot.

It’s so hard when something happened unexpected.More damages it will cause and more people will be in danger
