People Power Revolution: Where Is The Change?

I just can’t help myself but to laugh at this site during the program of celebrating the 25th year anniversary of peaceful People Power 1 in 1986.

That silly bird thought the President’s head as a nest?

The true meaning of the first Edsa People Power is about change. Filipinos revolted against the dictatorship of late President Ferdinand Marcos, and sought freedom and reforms in 1986.

However, it’s 25 years ago, the solution to problems that pushed people to staged peaceful revolution were not attained.

Filipinos still suffer from the quandary of corruption and poverty. The system of government doesn’t improve yet.

Yes, we have democracy. But are we developed enough? Were the reforms which promised by former President Cory Aquino and other previous administrations has been implemented?

Now, the current Philippine leader– another Aquino– swore to deliver true transformation of bureaucracy. It is another 6 years of long wait for Filipinos.

Funny young pic! Mukha kasing nest yung ulo ni P.Noy hehehe. Anyway, Hanggang me corruption and habang patuloy na dumarami ang population, patuloy pa ring maghihirap mga Filipinos.

LOL that picture is hilarious! Anyway on a serious note, our democracy may be our asset pero we misuse it most of the time making it a liability. Sayang lang kasi may mga taong rally lang ng rally ng walang good or worthy cause.
