North Korea Is Unstoppable

It is a really go. No one can stop it. And even some countries are furious, North Korea will definitely launch its ballistic missile for a test on April 12.

So what are we now going to do? Stay alert. Get ready. Just in case that something might go wrong.

In the Philippines, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) already pinpointed areas where the debris would possibly fall.

Also, alert has been raised over the entire part of Luzon, specifically Northern and Central Luzon and Metro Manila. Around 300 municipalities are placed on alert.

Based on the report of Department of Foreign Affairs, the satellite will be launched into polar orbit from Democratic People’s Republic of Korea’s new Sohae Satellite Launching Station in North Pyongan Province, near the border with China.

Although it is classified as a space launch vehicle (SLV), the Unha rocket is essentially the same as Taepodong missile, which is being developed as a delivery system for weapons of mass destruction.

The actions already taken and implemented by the authorities are as follows:

1. No Fly Zone. The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) and Philippine Air Force implemented a re-routing of flights. No cancellation of flights.

2. No Sail Zone. Sailing and fishing are prohibited in the coasts of Northern Luzon.

3. Department of Interior and Local Government has advised the public not to touch any debris that may fall from the sky although the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute stressed that they do not expect any nuclear or radioactive material from the rocket debris.

4. Residents in the Northeastern Luzon should stay indoor between the hours of 6 a.m. to 11 a.am from April 12 to 16.

The government is not exaggerating. Precautionary measures must be undertaken to avoid any accidents that might happened.
