Obviously, this move has the hand of none other than President Benigo Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III himself because his allies in the House of Representatives initiated it.

The war between the Executive and Judiciary has grown bigger and harder. If Corona were impeached, new Chief Justice will be appointed by President Aquino, right? If the Chief Justice is an ally of the President, would the principle of checks and balance prevail over personal interests?

Well, that is the history repeats itself.
